I was responsible for creating a system that would allow LaunchBoom to outsource campaign page design. Up until then, it had only been handled by in-house designers.

The Problem: LaunchBoom is known for its high achieving launches. Design is a part of that equation. How do we, at LaunchBoom, outsource that design while still maintaining the key elements that we know make a successful campaign? As the lead designer at LaunchBoom who has worked on several $1M+ campaigns, how I teach someone what I know about designing for crowdfunding without direct training?
The Goal: The goal was to successfully outsource campaign page design without major timeline disruptions or headache—for our team and the designer. Maintaining function and quality were big factors that couldn’t be sacrificed. Finding the right designers, and making sure our internal team set them up for success was the real task at hand.

The Outcome: We have been able to successfully outsource a campaign page! The funding goal was $10,000. The campaign reached $77,000+. According to the team members involved, the process had a couple kinks but very sustainable. It was a great start to a new process for our team.
